Sending..........................
Update: The Odd Bodz!
This time last year, I decided to start preparing the book for the publishers. With the editing, lengthening, synopsis and enquiry letter completed within the year, I am sending off this week. Sunday to be precise.
So many things have got in my way this year, from noisy neighbours, to family accidents and a death, I've had enough. I'm not letting anything stand in my way. On Sunday I will post again, when I have emailed it off. Then I'll post the reply, but whether good or bad, you'll hear about it first.
And if it's bad, then what? I take their advice if they give me any, and I send it off to another one. It's taken me well over ten years to get this far and whatever happens, I won't give up.
We are the writers, my friend, and we'll keep on writing till the end.
Wish me luck guys as I prepare for the next step in my publishing journey.....

Still Editing.....
Last year when I thought about editing my novel, I could have screamed! It's over 111,000 words long and I knew I had to trim the word count.
Almost a whole year later, I'm still editing the flaming thing as I attempt to reduce my word count and I still haven't finished typing it up!
I'm now on chapter 13 and only have three more chapters to type up. My challenge: finish typing by the end of the year. Do you think I'll do it? I sodding hope I do. New year new challenge, maybe finish editing the remaining 10 chapters. Well only time will tell if I can achieve my goal.

How many books do I need to write?
I wrote my first story aged 12/13, and am currently improving it ready to be sent to a literary agent while I wait, rather impatiently for my illustrator to finish the drawings. Yes I have concidered sacking her, but I can't afford anyone else and I'm not sure how easy it would be to find someone wiling to work for free.
During my time as a writer, I must have written (started), over ten stories. My problem is I just can't stop thinking of ideas!
A few months ago I started a new story, the other day, I started another one. See my problem?
Out of all the books I have written, I believe only three I have finished writing. Included in the rather small figure, the two books I am still editing.
I feel slightly alone with my problem and would love to know if any of you suffer from, let's call it can't-stop-writingitis. You never know, one day it might be recognised as medical condition, something I doubt it is, but you never know.
